1969 BSA LIGHTNING COMPLETELY RESTORED

This 1969 BSA Lightning has undergon a complete and correct restoration only a few years back it shows 718 miles on the speedometer since a complete engine rebuild at our shop and has been well cared for. The flamboyant red paint is exquisite, correct and has the proper decals. Tympanium voltage regulator replaces the weak original zener and rectifier. Boyer electronic ignition replaces points. New Amal 930 Premium carbs ensure smooth operation. New tires at time of restoration proper Dunlop K70's. The motorcycle starts easily and rides as new, atrue testament of the great British motorcycle industry of the 60's. Owner says sell. Price was $9250.00 and has been slashed to $8,200. BSA's of this caliber sell at auction for much more. Check recent Mecum and other auction sites.

1967 NORTON ATLAS
This rare 1967 Norton Atlas is exceptionally correct and complete. All original parts with the exception of new Avon tires which are correct for this vintage machine. The motor starts very easily as the magneto was rebuilt by Mark's Magneto and has a real hot spark. Nortons of this era are very rare and harder to find complete as most missing parts are not readily available. This a complete one. Great runner with exceptional Norton featherbed frame handling and road holder forks. Fast powerful and beautiful a great rider or addition to any colection. Price $12000.00

This complete frame up restoration is resplendent in Horizon Blue and Birch White paint. This is the first year of the famed outside oiler heads which make this a true highway cruiser. That plus upgrades such as the S&S oil pump assure many gleeful hours of riding and touring pleasure.Liberal additions of chrome make this motorcycle outstanding in appearance and a definite trophy winner. The Avon Gangster wide white wall tires bring back the romance of the 1950-1960's era where a custom motorcycle was a dress up sport long before the chopper scene put the torch and hacksaw to these precious jewels of motorcycling. 1967 TR6C ORIGINAL MOTORCYCLE WITH LOW MILEAGE FOR 42 YEARS OLD. RUNS FLAWLESSLY HAS TR6R GAS TANK BECAUSE THAT IS THE WAY THE FIRST OWNER WANTED IT. HE BELIEVED THAT THE LARGER TANK WOULD GIVE HIM GREATER RANGE ON HIS ADVENTURES WITH THIS GREAT MOTORCYCLE. TR6C MODELS ARE VERY RARE BECAUSE MOST OF THEM WERE CAMPAIGNED ON THE RACE CIRCUIT AND AS A RESULT MOST WERE VERY ABUSED AND MODIFIED FOR SPECIFIC TYPE OF RACING. TRIUMPH ALWAYS HAD A VERY LARGE PRESENCE AT ALL COMPETITION EVENTS BUT THIS ONE WAS JUST A SPECTATOR NOT A COMPETITOR. THIS IS VERY FORTUNATE THAT THIS MOTORCYCLE SURVIVED AS AN ORIGINAL PIECE MAKING IT A TRUE TREASURE.

1949 DOUGLASS MODEL "S" THIS IS ONE VERY RARE MOTORCYCLE. THE DOUGLAS COMPANY 1907-1957 ENGLAND WAS ONE OF THE PIONEERS OF THE FLAT TWIN CONFIGURATION BACK IN 1910 THIRTEEN YEARS BEFORE BMW. THEY CONTINUED TO EVOLVE AND IMPROVE UP UNTIL THE FAMED DOUGLASS DRAGONFLY. THIS EXAMPLE IS ORIGINAL EVEN WITH ORIGINAL PAINT AND DECALS SHOWING ON THE TANK. BOTH REAR CAST ALUMINUM REAR TOOL BOXES ARE THERE AND IN PRISTINE CONDITION. THE MOTORCYCLE TURNSOVER AND PROBABLY WILL RUN NICELY WITH A LITTLE COAXING. IT IS AN EXTREME EXAMPLE OF ENGINEERING WITH TORSION ARM SUSPENSION BOTH FRONT AND REAR. THE UPSWEPT EXHAUST MADE FOR THE SPORT MODELS FOR COMPETITION IN THE TT OF THE TRIALS EVENTS IS SOLID EVEN THOUGH RUSTED. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR MUSEUM QUALITY RESTORATION BECAUSE IT IS SO COMPLETE OR TO GET RUNNING AND PRESENT AS A TRUE 60 YEAR OLD SURVIVOR.
